I've seen asymmetrical skirts like these before but never in leather so I decided to make one myself. I bought this leather skirt in a second-hand shop (almost all second-hand shops have leather skirts) and I chose one with a seam in the middle. It's easier to make it with a seam in the middle. I recently discovered fabric glue and it makes DIY outfits so much easier. This skirt is so easy to make as it hardly requires any sewing!
Steps to make:
First mark where you want the shorter side to start from (1cm below that)
Remove the cotton on the seam until the mark (from front & back)
Sew the seam closed at the top mark
Cut horizontally along the level of the mark. Cut the longer side too if you want it shorter
Turn up the 1cm hem & glue it with fabric glue
Voila

Last Sunday we went to a magic place near our house. It feels like a different world when I'm here and want to come back in the Summer to take a dip in the crystal clear water..

Time for some colour! Usually I wear leopard print with black but I think it looks good with red too. This jacket I bought in a 2nd-hand shop in Poland. It's actually a boys junior school jacket and the sleeves are a little short but I push them up and it looks fine..
You know that feeling when you wear something and feel luxurious? Well this jacket always makes me feel that way! I love everything about this jacket and it's suited to everything I wear with it. It looks like two jackets but it's actually one. Today I'm wearing it with a two-layer top and flat shoes..
I haven't worn this bag for a very long time but in the past it was my favourite. I love worn-out leather that looks old & slightly destroyed, and the golden chain looks great with it. I'm wearing it with my white sweater (I love turtle-neck!), washed-out jeans and classic heels.
Today I'm wearing a very basic outfit of black boots & coat and light t-shirt under. It's very easy & comfortable. I found this cracked nail varnish on my last trip to Durban and really love it because you can put it over any colour and create lots of different effects.

This is the first time I'm wearing this jacket in Africa because it's not really suited to the weather here. But for the last few day's it's been a little colder so I can wear my European Winter clothes. I'm wearing my new shoes from Marsell which is now one of my favourite companies not only because of the design but because they're so comfortable. I tried a few pairs of them & they were all comfortable!
